Lord Wandsworth College
LWC is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged 11 – 18 set on a large, rural campus on the North Hampshire/Surrey border
There are just over 520 pupils, 34% of whom are girls
The staff pupil ratio is 1:9.
The average class size is 18.
There are three main entry points -
At 11+ (Year 7) we offer approximately 50 places
At 13+ (Year 9) we offer a further 50 places
At 16+ (Year 12) we offer approximately 20 places
Over half the pupils choose to board – either full boarding, weekly boarding or flexi-boarding
There is a very strong community feel to the school and all our pupils, whether they are day or boarding, belong to a ‘house’ –
Our 1st (Year 7) and 2nd (Year 8) formers belong to the co-ed Junior House
From 3rd form (Year 9) onwards pupils join one of our seven, senior, single-sex houses
Our charitable Foundation is vitally important to us and we would invite you to read more about this on the Foundation page of this site.
